Youth Festivals are annually organized at Zonal levels separately for Schools and Colleges. The host School and College provides the infra support for holding such festivals. Students and youth sponsored by schools, colleges and universities located in the Zone partake in various competitions and contests.

The unique aim of these festivals is "Identifying and Searching Talent"  from among students studying in schools colleges and universities and creating "Talent Bank of Students and Youth"  for further sharpening and value addition to their skills and enhance their competencies.

The curriculum of these Youth Festivals includes , various inter-schools and inter-colleges contests such as poetic recitation, devotional Sangeet & Gurbani singing competition, declamation, painting, turban tying, gatka display (presentation of marshal arts), quiz competition, etc.

The participating students are awarded certificates and outstanding students are awarded attractive prizes. In these festivals students participate with full enthusiasm in large numbers. During the last 50 years festivals were organized by GGSSC wherein Students taken part.
