Although machines have taken off a lot of work form the humans, but still there are qualities like compassion, embracing and empathy that humans are far ahead in. Development of the humans as resources to embrace the whole humanity and to make conscious efforts for global harmony is the need of the present time. “inspiring & Empowering volunteer force to generate global social movement for fostering the culture of “Sarbat Da Bhalla” (Welfare for All) is the agenda of this institute.

It was precisely this in mind that led to the establishment of “Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Institute of Human Resource Development” at Model Town Extension, Ludhiana under the aegis of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle. This was accomplished by worthy ‘Panj Piaras’ and the team of the trained instructors took off on 31th Dec. 1994 to hitherto, novel and unique mission.
The considered syllabi have been formulated for the classified groups viz. students, teachers, principals, preachers, doctors, nurses, writers, poets etc. The Institute has already organized 240 courses wherein more than 4500 individuals from various walks of life have been transformed to date. With enormous experience in the technology of objective human resource development under its belt, the institute is raring to go on and on. The management of the institute derives its zeal from the monumental works of-Bhai Kahan Singh Ji Nabha, the one man institution.

Infrastructure
The infrastructure available with the institute consists of a residential hostel with all modern facilities. The library of the institute has requisite literature for the participants of the orientation/refresher courses. The lecture room & office are studded with latest audiovisual aids facilities. There is a separate computer section which chips in with various educational CDs including that of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and those of life history of Sikh Gurus etc. One fully air conditioned auditorium with sitting capacity of 300 persons is available. Total hygienic kitchen (Langar) with preferably organic food is also there.
